Biography of Ben Younger

Ben Younger, a director and screenwriter, grew up in Brooklyn and began his career in the film industry at the age of 27 with the movie "Boiler Room" (2000).

He was born on October 7, 1972, in New Jersey. In his youth, he had various professions before studying at a university in New York. Initially, Younger aspired to be a successful politician but soon became disillusioned with politics and started seeking a more creative profession, such as his past career as a stand-up comedian.

Following the recommendation of a friend, Younger tried his hand at screenwriting and made two short films - "Maestro" and "L&M".

While working as a waiter at a Manhattan diner, he accidentally met a film screenwriter, thus gaining valuable connections in the film industry. It was this acquaintance who became interested in Younger's second short film, "L&M".
